So you may look at this price tag and skip past this product. DON'T! The craftmanship is stellar, the color AMAZING and rich, and the story of how the product is made (BY HAND!) is unique and lovely. We had purchased a duvet from Saffron Marigold (this seller) and were very happy with the brilliant colors and unique pattern. It's hand stamped with natural materials and dyes. I was concerned it may not hold up well or that it might get destroyed in the wash - a completely unfounded worry! We have four animals in the house and a LOT of dirt, dander, and fur... two of our pets are 80+ pound dogs that love to frolic, play, and claw our linens. Needless to say, we have to launder our textiles and fabrics constantly and the duvet is still in top-notch condition. We recently wanted to extend the color palate into the bathroom and this shower curtain served as the anchor for the room. I LOVE IT and think you will, too!!!!! Sometimes you really do get what you pay for... Yes, this is a pricey shower curtain. No, I've never paid $100 for a BATHROOM accessory in my life. Do I regret my purchase - NOT FOR A SECOND.
The only negative I can possibly come up with is that when you first unwrap, it has an odd, earthy smell. I attribute this to the natural dyes. The smell isn't exactly unpleasant, but it is noticeable. This happened for both the duvet and the shower curtain. The smell does diminish over time. Once more, it isn't really unpleasant... it's kind of reminiscent of wet rocks.
This would be a GREAT gift. The note that is included describes the history of the products and the company and is printed on very unique, fabric paper. It's a lovely touch and adds something special.
One of the best purchases we have made for our home.

The color, design, and quality of the fabric for the shower curtain are beautiful. When the package arrived, I was surprised by how beautiful everything was. The little details are a nice touch, and the story behind the product is also really lovely. Support this small business! The quality and care that goes into their products are so worth it.

Beautiful shower curtain with rich colors. Did a wonderful job of brightening our all white bathroom with a jolt of color. Bought the coordinating window curtains as well.
